A 6.6 ft DisplayPort 2.1 cable delivering 40 Gbit/s bandwidth for 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and 2K at 240 Hz with HDR10 and triple shielding
This DisplayPort 2.1 cable carries up to 40 Gbit/s over 6.6 ft, linking a graphics card or laptop to a monitor with a single male-to-male connection. It is built for users who want 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz or 2K at 240 Hz without signal loss, and who value the plug-and-play simplicity of a certified HBR10 link.
The cable supports 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz, 5120 x 2880 at 60 Hz, 4096 x 2160 at 144 Hz and 2560 x 1440 at 240 Hz, all with DSC 1.2a compression where required. At 1920 x 1080 it reaches 360 Hz, so competitive gaming and high-frame-rate content both stay within the 40 Gbit/s ceiling. Beyond those combinations the bandwidth runs out, so higher resolutions or faster refresh rates would need a shorter run or a different interface.
DisplayPort 2.1 at HBR10 tops out at 40 Gbit/s, which the cable meets over its full 6.6 ft length; longer runs would risk errors even with triple shielding and solid copper conductors. The link is backward compatible with DisplayPort 1.4, 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1, but those older ports cannot deliver the 8K or high-refresh 4K modes. HDCP 2.2 and 1.4 are supported for protected content, while MST and FEC keep multi-monitor chains stable within the same bandwidth budget.
