1×2 HDMI Splitter with Audio Extraction

The ESTONE OZF6-1 takes a single HDMI source and mirrors it to two displays at once. It also provides a 3.5 mm stereo output for separate audio routing. The unit is powered through a USB-C connection and includes the required cable. This suits users who need identical content on two screens with an analogue audio feed.

HDMI 2.0b bandwidth and cable limits

The splitter operates within the 18 Gbps ceiling of HDMI 2.0b and supports HDCP 2.2 for protected material. Source and display cables must not exceed eight metres when using AWG 26 HDMI 2.0b leads. Only mirror mode is available; the device cannot extend a desktop across the two outputs.

Auto down-scaling for mixed-resolution displays

When one display handles 4K at 60 Hz and the other tops out at 1080p, the splitter automatically sends each its native resolution instead of forcing both to the lower common denominator. This single behaviour decides whether the OZF6-1 fits a mixed-screen setup.

Questions about this item

Is there a version with more than two HDMI outputs?

This model provides exactly two HDMI outputs plus a 3.5 mm audio jack; no other port-count variants are listed.

What does the 4K 60 Hz rating mean when I connect two different displays?

The splitter mirrors the source to both screens and auto-downscales, so a 4K 60 Hz monitor and a 1080p 60 Hz monitor can each show their native resolution simultaneously.

Which HDMI standard limits the 18.5 Gbps bandwidth?

HDMI 2.0b caps the link at 18.5 Gbps, enabling 4K 60 Hz with HDR10 and HDCP 2.2.
