HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor 4K 60Hz

The ESTONE OZV8-1A accepts a single HDMI source and delivers one HDMI video pass-through plus separate digital optical and analog 3.5 mm audio outputs. It handles resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz with 18 Gbps bandwidth and HDCP 2.2 compliance. The unit suits installers and home-theatre owners who need to route sound to an amplifier, soundbar or headphones while keeping the display connected.

Bundled cables and power adapter

A 3.5 mm stereo cable, a Toslink optical cable, an HDMI cable and a USB power adapter are included in the package. These accessories let the extractor work immediately with most source devices and audio receivers without purchasing extra interconnects. The USB power adapter ensures stable operation even when the source HDMI port supplies limited current.

Compact black enclosure with fixed ports

The aluminium housing measures 5.59 x 3.15 x 1.26 inches and weighs 3.2 ounces, fitting easily behind a display or inside an AV rack. One HDMI input, one HDMI output, one Toslink SPDIF jack and one 3.5 mm jack are permanently mounted, so cable routing stays tidy and no adapters protrude. ARC support allows compatible TVs to send audio back to the extractor for external playback.

Questions about this item

Will the USB power adapter need replacing if used continuously?

The extractor draws power from the included USB adapter; no internal battery or fan exists, so the adapter itself is the only part that may wear out over years of 24/7 operation.

What video bandwidth ceiling limits a 4K 60 Hz signal through this unit?

The HDMI 2.0b path is rated at 18 Gbps, which is the hard ceiling for 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz with HDCP 2.2; higher refresh rates or bit-depths will not pass.

Does the box get hot or make noise when extracting audio all day?

It has no fan or moving parts and measures only 5.59 x 3.15 x 1.26 inches, so it runs silently and stays at ambient temperature during continuous use.
