Signal integrity over distance

The 18 Gbps bandwidth handles 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 colour without compression when cables are kept within the rated reach. At 1080p the link remains stable up to 50 ft, while 4K signals hold to 26 ft using the specified AWG26 cable. Longer runs or higher refresh rates will introduce drop-outs that this device cannot correct.

HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2 limits

HDCP 2.2 compliance lets protected 4K streams pass, but the splitter cannot down-convert a newer HDCP version for an older display. HDR10 metadata is forwarded unchanged, yet Dolby Vision or dynamic HDR formats are not supported. The three audio-mode settings cover TV stereo, 2.0 CH and 5.1 CH PCM; bit-stream formats such as Dolby Digital Plus are not decoded.
