What this HDMI audio extractor does

The ESTONE OZV8-2 takes one HDMI source and splits it to an HDMI ARC display plus optical, stereo RCA and 3.5 mm analogue outputs. It handles 4K at 60 Hz with HDR10 and Dolby Vision pass-through. A 5 V power adapter is included for reliable operation.

Who this suits and who it does not

Ideal for connecting a Blu-ray player, console or streamer to a soundbar or AV receiver that lacks HDMI inputs. Buyers who need multiple HDMI inputs or switching between sources should look at a different device. It also does not add HDMI outputs for additional displays.

The spec that decides compatibility

Maximum supported bandwidth is 600 MHz with a 18.5 Gbps data rate and HDCP 2.2 compliance. Input and output cables up to 10 m using AWG26 HDMI 2.0a standard cable are supported. If your source exceeds these limits the extractor will not pass the signal.

Check that the TV shows an HDR or Dolby Vision signal at 4K 60 Hz and that your receiver displays the corresponding Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD or LPCM 7.1 format on its front panel.
