The ESTONE OZHL2 converts digital audio from optical Toslink, coaxial SPDIF and USB sources into analogue stereo signals. It outputs through RCA left/right sockets and a 3.5 mm headphone jack with a built-in amplifier. The unit supports PCM and LPCM formats at sampling rates of 32, 44.1, 48, 96 and 192 kHz with 24-bit depth. Power is supplied via the included USB cable and an IR remote control is provided for input selection and volume adjustment.

Ideal for connecting modern digital sources

This converter suits users who need to feed a traditional stereo amplifier, powered speakers or wired headphones from a TV, game console, set-top box or PC digital output. The integrated headphone amplifier delivers 125 mW per channel into 32 ohms and accepts headphones from 32 to 600 ohms. Buyers whose source cannot be set to PCM or LPCM output should look elsewhere, as the device does not decode Dolby Digital, DTS or other bitstream formats.
