4K 60 Hz HDMI audio extractor

The ESTONE OZV8E splits a single HDMI source into a video path and four separate audio outputs. It serves home-theatre owners who want to keep an older receiver or soundbar while passing 4K 60 Hz and HDR video to a display.

Check before ordering

Your source must provide an HDMI 2.0 signal at up to 3840 x 2160 60 Hz and support HDCP 2.3 for protected content. The extractor needs the included 5 V 1000 mA power adapter, so a free mains socket is required. It does not add extra HDMI outputs for multiple screens.

Build and daily use

A black metal enclosure measuring 5.59 x 3.15 x 1.26 inches weighs 3.2 ounces and sits unobtrusively in a rack. Connectors comprise one HDMI input, one HDMI loop-out, plus 3.5 mm jack, Toslink, coaxial and a dedicated HDMI audio port. A four-position toggle selects TV, 2.0, 5.1 or 7.1 channel output, and ARC/eARC pass-through lets the TV return audio without extra cables.
