Dual headphone sharing

This ESTONE SONGFUL M2 splitter converts one 3.5 mm male jack into two female ports so two listeners can use headphones from a single source. The 20 cm cable suits phones, tablets, laptops and desktop PCs. A slim metal connector housing fits through most device cases without removal. Supplied as a two-pack for spare or multi-room use.

CTIA wired for broad device support

The cable follows the CTIA pinout used by recent Apple, Samsung, LG and MIUI handsets, so microphone and remote functions pass through to both outputs. No driver or power is required; simply plug into any standard 3.5 mm stereo jack. The Y-shape keeps both headsets close to the source device.

Passive analogue signal path

Because the splitter is purely passive, audio quality depends on the source output stage and the connected headphones rather than on the adapter itself. Signal divides equally between ports with no active buffering, so very low-impedance loads may reduce volume slightly compared with a single headset.

Questions about this item

How long is the cable before the split becomes tight under sustained use?

The cable measures 20 cm from the male plug to the Y junction, so the split stays fixed at that distance.

Does the splitter generate any heat or noise when used all day?

It is a passive analogue splitter with no electronics, so it produces no heat and no audible noise during continuous use.

What source connector must the device already have for this splitter to work?

The source needs a single 3.5 mm stereo jack that follows the CTIA pinout used by most phones, tablets and laptops.
