380TVL analog box camera

The Eyemax CO-TP-3924DN is a standard-resolution CCTV camera built around a 1/3” Sony Super HAD CCD sensor. It delivers 380 TV lines in colour and switches automatically to black-and-white at night. Dual-voltage input accepts 12 VDC or 24 VAC without manual selection. The unit is sold without a lens and uses C or CS mounts with a C-mount adapter included.

Upgrade from basic fixed cameras

This model adds day/night switching, back-light compensation and auto-tracing white balance to a conventional analog installation. The internal line-lock sync keeps pictures stable across multiple cameras on the same system. The jump is worth it when you need reliable 24-hour coverage without separate day and night units.

Suits installers fitting banks.

The camera fits any analog DVR that supports standard composite video and the listed voltage range. Buyers who want higher resolution, IP connectivity or integrated infrared illumination should look at something else. The missing lens also means you must source compatible glass separately.

Questions about this item

What lens mount does the CO-TP-3924DN use and is an adapter supplied?

The camera accepts C or CS mount lenses and a C-mount adapter is included in the box.

How do I power the camera and which step is often missed during installation?

Connect either 12 volts DC or 24 volts AC; the unit auto-detects the source, but installers frequently forget to set the iris control to match the lens type.

When will the day/night sensor need attention and what triggers the switch?

The internal sensor switches automatically between colour at 0.8 lux and monochrome at 0.03 lux; clean the sensor window if the transition becomes unreliable.
