2.5 Inch SATA Drive Exclusive Support

This adapter works only with 2.5 inch SATA I, II or III hard drives and SSDs. It does not support 3.5 inch, 5.25 inch or M.2 drives. A USB 3.0 port is required to reach the 5Gbps transfer rate, while USB 2.0 limits speed to 480 Mbps.
