It operates at 850 nm with a duplex LC connector and supports data rates from 9.95 to 10.5 Gb/s over multimode fibre. The unit is RoHS-6 compliant and rated for commercial temperatures from 0 °C to 70 °C.

The uncooled 850 nm VCSEL laser maintains link integrity up to 300 m on 2000 MHz·km multimode fibre.
