Dual-Monitor KVM Switch for Two PCs

The GCROWN USB 3.0 KVM switch lets two computers share two HDMI monitors and a single keyboard-and-mouse set. Three USB 3.0 ports allow both systems to access drives, cameras or other peripherals without unplugging cables. It draws power from the connected computers, so no external adapter is needed.

Suits dual-display workstations.

Designed for users who run two PCs side-by-side and need both displays active in extend or duplicate mode. Each computer must provide two HDMI outputs and support dual-monitor operation. Buyers with only one display output per system or who require audio switching through the KVM should look elsewhere.

4K@60Hz over HDMI with YUV 4:4:4

The switch passes UHD 4K at 60 Hz with full 4:4:4 chroma subsampling and maintains backward compatibility with lower resolutions. EDID emulation keeps display handshakes stable when switching. If your graphics outputs cannot drive 4K@60Hz over HDMI, the link will fall back to the highest common mode.

Questions about this item

How do I hook up the two monitors and two PCs, and which step do people usually miss?

Connect each PC's two HDMI outputs to the switch's HDMI inputs, then attach both monitors to the HDMI outputs. The step often missed is confirming that every computer actually supports dual displays and has two HDMI ports before cabling everything.

What will need replacement or maintenance down the line?

The three USB 3.0 ports and the HDMI connectors are the only parts that see repeated insertion cycles; cables and the wired remote's 1 m lead may wear first and can be swapped with standard replacements.

What limit appears first when I push 4K 60 Hz on both screens for hours?

The switch tops out at 4K 60 Hz YUV 4:4:4, so sustained dual-monitor operation at that rate is the ceiling; bandwidth beyond that is not supported.
