What the GL-88 recorder is

The Geili GL-88 is a compact digital voice recorder with 8 GB of built-in storage. It captures audio in WAV format and offers up to 100 hours of continuous recording time. The device weighs about 53 g and measures 95 by 25 by 13 mm, making it easy to carry in a pocket or clip to clothing.

Recording quality and noise reduction

The recorder uses PCM at 3072 kbps and a 1536 kbps lossless mode for high-definition capture. It applies DeNoise 4.0 technology with a CVC algorithm and dual microphones to filter ambient noise in real time. Adjustable noise-reduction levels help restore on-site vocals clearly across different environments.

Power, connectivity and extra functions

A built-in lithium battery provides up to 40 hours of operation and recharges via a 5 V 1 A USB supply. The USB connector also handles file transfer to a PC without extra software. Features include a 0.96 inch TFT colour screen, an 18 mm built-in speaker, voice-activated recording, split recordings, timestamping, music playback, and a boot password for privacy.
