Fits 64-Inch Grills

The GrillTough GC005 is a heavy-duty cover built for outdoor gas grills measuring 64 inches long by 24 inches wide by 48 inches high. It is designed to fit popular brands such as Weber Genesis and Char-Broil models that match those dimensions. The cover uses fade-resistant polyester fabric with a waterproof vinyl coating to shield the grill from rain, snow, sun and cold cracking. Adjustable straps secure the hem so the cover stays in place during windy conditions.

Weather Resistance and Care

The polyester vinyl material blocks UV rays to reduce fading and resists tearing from repeated exposure. Water beads off the vinyl coating, keeping the grill surface dry through storms and humidity. For routine cleaning, the cover can be hosed down with water and left to air dry in the sun. The manufacturer notes that the grill must cool completely before the cover is applied to prevent fire hazards.

Construction and Daily Use

Weighing 3.54 pounds, the cover is light enough for one person to lift and drape over the grill without assistance. The adjustable strap closure allows a snug fit around varying grill shapes within the stated size range. Multiple sizes from 28 to 72 inches are available in the same line, so buyers with smaller or larger grills can select the matching model. This cover is not suited for grills exceeding the 64-inch length or for indoor-only storage where a lighter dust cover would suffice.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the 64 in cover and which step do people skip?

Centre the cover over the cool grill, then pull the adjustable straps tight under the frame; the step most skip is waiting until the metal is completely cold before covering.

What upkeep will the polyester vinyl need later?

Hose off dirt with water and let it air-dry in the sun; no special cleaners or treatments are required.

Which limit appears first during long outdoor exposure?

The vinyl coating will eventually lose its waterproof barrier under constant UV and weather cycles.
