16-channel NVR for Hiseeu WiFi cameras

This network video recorder pairs with up to 16 Hiseeu wireless cameras using its built-in Wi-Fi link. It is designed for home security installations that rely exclusively on Hiseeu equipment and do not require a separate router for camera connectivity.

2.4 GHz network constraint and power requirements

The unit only connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks and will not join 5 GHz bands. It requires a 12 V 2 A or 12 V 3 A power supply; using a 12 V 1 A adapter will not deliver enough current for the hard drive.

HDMI audio output and pairing procedure

Audio playback requires an HDMI connection to a television, and two-way talk is handled through the mobile app when the system is online. To add a camera, press its reset button for about six seconds, then select the plus icon on the NVR until an address such as 172.20.14 appears.

Questions about this item

How do I pair a new Hiseeu camera with the 16CH NVR using the mouse and reset button?

Right-click the NVR mouse, select camera, hold the camera reset button for about six seconds, click the plus icon, and wait for an IP address starting with 172.20.14 to appear confirming success.

What ongoing maintenance does the NVR require for its built-in Wi-Fi router and hard drive?

Keep the 12V 2A or 3A power supply connected so the drive stays powered, ensure the unit stays ventilated, and check the NVR version via System Setup > General Setup if cameras drop off the private Wi-Fi link.

What is the first limitation I will hit when running all 16 channels continuously?

The NVR only connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for internet access, so sustained remote viewing or cloud features will be limited by that single-band connection rather than the 16-channel capacity itself.
