EliteBook 840 G6 for business professionals

The HP EliteBook 840 G6 is a 14.0-inch notebook built for office workers and mobile professionals who need reliable performance in a compact chassis. It ships with Windows 10 Pro and includes a webcam for video calls. The Intel Core i7-8665U quad-core processor with 15 W TDP handles everyday productivity and multitasking without fan noise becoming intrusive.

Straightforward setup with Thunderbolt 3 docking

Installation is simple: connect the included charger, press the power button and follow the Windows 10 Pro first-run prompts. The single Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port and HDMI output let you attach a dock, external display or projector with one cable. The only common snag is driver updates for the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265, which usually resolve after the first Windows Update cycle.

32 GB DDR4 and 2 TB NVMe headroom

The 32 GB DDR4 memory and 2 TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD provide ample headroom for large spreadsheets, local databases and multiple virtual machines. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics uses shared system memory, so heavy 3D rendering or modern gaming will hit limits quickly. Buyers who need discrete GPU acceleration or more than two external 4K displays should look elsewhere.
