Built for mobile professionals

The HP EliteBook 850 G8 is a 15.6-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7 1185G7 quad-core processor running at 3.0 GHz. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD, running Windows 11 Pro out of the box. The 1920 x 1080 FHD LED-backlit display is non-touch and uses integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics.

Suits users who need one portable workstation

This configuration fits analysts, developers and consultants who want ample memory and fast local storage in a single silver chassis without adding modules later. Buyers who require a touchscreen, a discrete GPU, or a higher-resolution panel should look at other models because this unit has none of those features.

Deciding spec: 32 GB DDR4 soldered

The memory capacity is fixed at 32 GB and cannot be expanded, so the purchase hinges on whether that amount covers your current and near-term workloads. If your projects regularly exceed this limit, this laptop will not meet the requirement.
