Business laptop with 15.6" display

The HP EliteBook 850 G8 is a 15.6-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-1185G7 processor running at 3.0 GHz. It comes with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. The system runs Windows 11 Pro and includes integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics driving a 1920 x 1080 FHD LED panel. It is aimed at professionals who need a portable workstation with ample memory and fast storage.

Ready to use out of the box

The laptop ships with the operating system pre-installed on the 2 TB NVMe drive, so no drive preparation or OS installation is required. Memory is soldered and not user-upgradeable, while the single M.2 slot is occupied by the factory SSD. The only common setup issue is confirming that the Thunderbolt 4 ports are enabled in BIOS for full peripheral bandwidth.

32 GB memory and 2 TB storage headroom

The 32 GB of DDR4 memory handles heavy multitasking, large spreadsheets, and virtual machines without paging. The 2 TB NVMe SSD provides generous space for project files, local databases, and media libraries. Storage headroom diminishes only when users keep multiple large VM images or raw video projects on the internal drive, at which point external storage becomes practical.
