Versatile 2-in-1 with 13.3" FHD touchscreen

This HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5 G6 is a convertible notebook built around a 13.3 inch Full HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass. It runs on an 8th generation Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with Intel UHD Graphics 620. The system includes 8 GB of onboard DDR4 RAM and a 2 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, shipping with Windows 11 Pro.

Suits mobile professionals needing pen

The 360-degree hinge and touchscreen support inking and presentation modes for workers who move between desk and meeting room. Buyers who require discrete graphics for rendering or gaming should look elsewhere. Users needing user-replaceable memory or a larger display will not find those options here.

Quad-core i5-8350U with integrated UHD 620 graphics

The processor operates at a 1.7 GHz base frequency and can reach 3.6 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost across four cores and eight threads. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles the display output without a separate GPU. This CPU and graphics combination defines the performance ceiling for everyday productivity and light creative tasks.

Questions about this item

How loud and warm does the i5-8350U get during all-day workloads?

The quad-core i5-8350U runs at 1.7 GHz base and can reach 3.6 GHz with Turbo Boost, using integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620; its low-power design keeps fan activity minimal and chassis temperatures comfortable for long sessions.

Which ports and peripherals do I need to connect external displays or docks?

Two USB-C Thunderbolt ports, one HDMI output, a USB 3.1 Gen 1 charging port and a headphone/microphone combo jack are built in; Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 handle wireless accessories.

Will my existing USB-A drives and monitors work without extra adapters?

The laptop provides only USB-C Thunderbolt and one USB 3.1 Gen 1 port, so legacy USB-A devices require a hub or cable; HDMI allows direct connection to most external screens.
