HP T420 Thin Client

The HP T420 is a compact thin client built around an AMD GX-209JA dual-core processor running at 1 GHz. It ships with 2 GB of DDR3L memory and 8 GB of internal flash storage. Gigabit Ethernet provides wired network connectivity for managed environments.

Suited for managed desktops; not for local workloads

This unit fits organisations that run virtual desktops or web apps from a central server. Buyers who need local application performance, discrete graphics or user-upgradeable memory should look at something else.

AMD GX-209JA dual-core 1 GHz processor

The single-socket G-Series chip delivers two cores at 1 GHz and defines the ceiling for every local task. If the workload demands more compute threads or higher clock speeds, this thin client will not meet the requirement.
