Hyundai 2068 voice recorder

The Hyundai 2068 is a pocket-sized digital recorder with 8 GB of built-in storage and a 1.1-inch OLED display. It captures PCM WAV audio at 384 kbps and offers voice-activated, timed and external-microphone recording modes. Students, journalists and professionals who need a compact, metal-bodied device for lectures, interviews or dictation will find it straightforward to operate.

Capacity and headroom

The 8 GB memory holds up to 520 hours of recording at the default quality setting and 200 hours in PCM WAV mode. Continuous sessions can run for seven days before the battery needs recharging, while standby time extends to 30 days. Users planning very long uncompressed sessions or requiring expandable storage will need a different solution.

Thermals noise and power draw

A built-in rechargeable battery delivers 24 hours of recording or over 200 hours of earphone playback per charge. Recharging takes around five hours from a 5 V 500 mA adapter via Micro USB. The solid-state design has no moving parts, so it runs silently and stays cool during normal use.
