Inctel I27-i5 8250U mini PC

This fanless industrial mini PC runs on an Intel Core i5 8250U quad-core processor with a 1.6 GHz base frequency and 3.4 GHz maximum turbo frequency. It includes 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SSD with Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. The compact metal chassis is designed for embedded or space-constrained deployments.

Six COM ports and GPIO header

Six serial COM ports and an 8-bit GPIO header provide direct connectivity for legacy industrial equipment, sensors and automation controllers. Dual LAN ports, four USB 3.0 ports and four USB 2.0 ports support peripheral expansion without additional hubs. HDMI and VGA outputs enable dual independent displays at up to 4096 x 2304 resolution at 24 Hz.

15 W TDP quad-core CPU

The i5 8250U operates at a 15 W thermal design power, allowing completely passive cooling in a sealed metal enclosure. Buyers who require higher sustained multi-thread performance or discrete graphics capability should consider alternative platforms.

Questions about this item

Will the 512 GB SSD need replacement or can I add more storage later?

The unit includes one M.2 2280 slot, one mSATA slot and a 2.5 inch SATA bay, so you can add another SSD or hard drive without removing the original 512 GB drive.

What limits sustained performance on the Core i5 8250U?

The processor has a 15 W TDP and the chassis is fanless, so thermal throttling will appear first under continuous heavy load.

How much heat and noise does the fanless all-metal case produce when running all day?

With no moving parts the system is silent, and the metal enclosure acts as a heatsink to dissipate the 15 W CPU power continuously.
