Inctel I27-i5 8250U-16G1TB Mini PC 16GB 1TB Windows 10 Pro

Compact industrial mini PC with quad-core i5

The Inctel I27-i5 8250U-16G1TB is a fanless desktop computer built around an Intel Core i5 8250U processor with four cores and eight threads running at a base frequency of 1.60GHz up to 3.4GHz. It ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB SSD, while the all-metal chassis provides passive cooling and includes mounting ears for fixed installations. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed and licensed for 64-bit operation.

Suited for embedded and multi-serial workloads

This unit fits automation, kiosk and edge-gateway roles that demand six COM ports, an 8-bit GPIO header, a parallel port and dual Intel i213 Gigabit LAN connections. Dual-display output via HD and VGA ports supports resolutions up to 4096x2304 at 24Hz using the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620. Buyers who need discrete GPU performance, higher display refresh rates or more than 32GB of system memory should consider other platforms.

Expansion hinges on the three internal drive bays

The platform provides one M.2 2280 slot that accepts SATA or nvme SSDs, one full-size mSATA socket and one 2.5-inch SATA bay for additional hard drives or SSDs. Two mini-PCIe slots handle the included dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi with external antennas and can also accommodate a 4G module with a SIM slot. Storage capacity beyond the supplied 1TB therefore depends entirely on which of these three bays are populated.
