Compact Fanless Desktop

The Inctel i3-8145U desktop PC is a compact nettop built around a 15W Intel Core i3-8145U processor with Intel UHD Graphics. It ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB SSD, running Windows 10 Pro and ready for Windows 11. The fanless aluminium chassis operates silently and is rated for continuous 24/7 use.

Build Integration

VGA and HDMI ports drive two displays simultaneously, either mirrored or extended. Storage can be expanded through an M.2 2280 NVMe slot, an mSATA slot and a 2.5-inch SATA bay, so the single included drive leaves room for additional capacity. No internal fan means the unit relies on its case for heat dissipation, so airflow around the enclosure matters.

Target Users

This system suits digital-signage deployments, kiosk terminals or office workstations that need silent operation and dual-monitor support. Buyers who want more storage can add drives in the three available slots. Builders who need a discrete graphics card, higher multi-threaded performance or a different processor generation should look at something else.

Questions about this item

How does the fanless design handle heat during 7x24 operation with the 15W TDP i3-8145U?

The aluminium alloy chassis acts as a passive heatsink, allowing continuous 7x24 use without a fan while keeping the 15W processor within safe temperatures.

What is the acoustic profile of this fanless nettop when running all day?

With no cooling fan installed, the system produces no mechanical noise at any load, making it silent during 24/7 operation.

Which display cables and monitors are needed to use the HDMI and VGA outputs?

You must supply your own HDMI and VGA cables plus one or two monitors; the unit includes both ports for dual independent or mirrored displays.
