Compact industrial nettop

The Inctel i3-8145U is a fanless nettop desktop built for continuous 24/7 operation in industrial or commercial settings. Its aluminium chassis dissipates heat silently without moving parts. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed and the system is Windows 11 ready. A monitor is not included.

Dual-channel DDR4 with triple-storage bays

Two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots provide dual-channel memory bandwidth using the supplied 8 GB module. Storage expands through three internal interfaces: one M.2 2280 NVMe slot, one mSATA slot and one 2.5-inch SATA bay. The boot drive is a 128 GB NVMe SSD.

Suited for silent embedded workloads

This unit fits digital signage, kiosk, thin-client or light edge-computing roles where noise must be zero and uptime is critical. Buyers who need more than two CPU cores, discrete graphics performance or higher single-thread speed should look at other platforms.

Questions about this item

What does the i3-8145U's 3.9 GHz boost clock mean for everyday workloads?

The dual-core processor reaches 3.9 GHz on short bursts, so web browsing, office apps and 4K video playback stay responsive while the fanless chassis keeps noise at zero.

How does the M.2 2280 NVMe slot limit the 128 GB drive's speed?

The slot runs over PCIe lanes tied to the 15 W CPU, so sequential reads top out around the drive's rated ceiling rather than saturating a full desktop platform.

What mounting hardware does the aluminium case need for wall installation?

Long screws through the chassis mounting holes secure the unit to a VESA bracket or directly to a wall; no fan clearance is required because the system is passively cooled.
