A single SC duplex port carries the fibre connection and a standard RJ45 jack handles twisted-pair copper. Auto MDI/MDI-X removes the need for crossover cables, and auto-negotiation sets speed and duplex without manual configuration. Extends copper segments beyond 100 m limit
