Red Aluminum Server Bezel

The iStarUSA Bezel-RED-400 is a red aluminum front bezel designed for server chassis. It measures 7.5" x 4.5" x 0.8" and includes a removable ABS filter tray. The unit is built to fit the D-406-ND server case and adds a coloured accent to the rack.

Upgrade from Plain Bezels

This bezel replaces a standard front panel with a ventilated aluminium face and a washable filter. The jump is worth it when the existing bezel lacks dust filtration or when airflow restriction causes higher internal temperatures. The red finish also aids visual identification in dense rack rows.

Suits D-406-ND Builders

The part suits administrators fitting a D-406-ND chassis who want tool-less filter maintenance and a distinctive red front. It does not suit builders using other case models or those needing a bezel with integrated drive bays or a locking door. Buyers without the matching chassis should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the bezel to confirm it fits the D-406-ND chassis?

The bezel measures 7.5 inches wide by 4.5 inches high by 0.8 inches deep, matching the D-406-ND front panel cutout.

How does the bezel attach to the server, and what step is often missed?

It fastens with the chassis mounting screws; the step often missed is seating the ABS filter tray into its grooves before tightening the bezel.

When should the removable air filter be cleaned or replaced?

Clean the washable ABS filter whenever dust buildup restricts airflow through the ventilation slots; replace it if the mesh tears or deforms.
