Compact 4U server rack

The iStarUSA WD-460 is a four-unit steel enclosure designed for countertop or under-desk placement. Its 600 mm depth accepts chassis up to 23 inches deep and supports a 220 lb load. Casters allow easy relocation in office or lab environments.

Suits small-scale deployments

This rack fits users who need a lightweight, mobile cabinet for a few rack-mount devices. It does not suit installations that require deeper bays, higher weight ratings or full-height floor-standing enclosures.

Sustained thermal management

The open-frame layout and central air-conditioning pathway maintain steady airflow during continuous operation. Steel SPCC 2.0 mm construction resists flex under constant load without degrading cooling performance.

Questions about this item

What maximum chassis depth can the WD-460 4U rack accept?

It supports chassis up to 23 inches deep, so any rackmount server or enclosure shorter than that will fit inside the 23.60-inch enclosure depth.

Will the rack hold a fully loaded 220 lb server on its SPCC 2.0mm steel frame?

Yes, the frame is rated for 220 lbs total weight capacity, which covers most 4U rackmount chassis and equipment combinations.

How do I confirm the rack is level and stable after placing it on its casters?

Lock the caster brakes, then verify the unit sits evenly on all four wheels without rocking; the 20.00 x 13.50-inch footprint should remain steady under load.
