Jansicotek 2-Pack 3.5mm Male to 2 Female Audio Splitter 20cm

2-Pack 3.5mm Audio Splitter for Shared Listening

This Jansicotek 2-pack provides two 20cm Y-cables that convert a single 3.5mm stereo output into two 3.5mm stereo inputs. Each splitter lets two people listen to the same phone, tablet, laptop or MP3 player through their own headphones or speakers. The compact cables are designed for portable use and feature a slim metal housing that fits through most device cases without removal.

CTIA Wiring Limits Compatibility With Some Headsets

The splitters follow the CTIA pinout used by most modern smartphones and tablets. This means they work with standard stereo headphones but will not pass microphone signals from headsets that use the OMTP wiring scheme found on some older Android devices. The 20cm length keeps the adapter close to the source, reducing strain on the port, but it does not extend reach for distant listening positions.

Two Headphones From One Port With No Amplification

Each splitter cleanly duplicates the stereo signal for two passive headphones or powered speakers at typical mobile volume levels. Because the cable is purely passive, it adds no gain; very high-impedance headphones may sound quieter than when driven directly. The 24K gold-plated terminals and bare copper conductors preserve signal integrity, but the adapter cannot drive more than two loads or boost a weak source output.
