HDMI to RCA Converter for Legacy Displays

This Jansicotek adapter converts an HDMI source to composite CVBS video and stereo audio for older televisions, VCRs or DVD recorders. It accepts input resolutions up to 1920x1080 at 60Hz and downscales to standard-definition 480i or 576i output. The unit also provides a 3.5mm audio jack alongside the RCA connectors.

Simple USB-Powered Installation

Connect the HDMI source, attach the three RCA cables and the 3.5mm audio lead, then power the converter via the included USB cable and adapter. A slide switch selects NTSC or PAL output; choose NTSC for America and PAL elsewhere. If the picture appears in black and white, toggle the switch to the other standard. No drivers or software are required.

Handles 1080p60 Input, Outputs SD Only

The converter comfortably processes 1080p, 720p, 576p and 480p signals at 60Hz and is compatible with HDMI 1.3 sources such as PCs, Blu-ray players and streaming devices. It cannot up-convert RCA to HDMI, nor does it support component YPbPr or progressive-scan output. Buyers needing HDMI input on an older display or HDMI output from analogue sources should look for a different device.
