4K 60 Hz HDMI Audio Extractor

The Jansicotek OZV8E extracts audio from a single HDMI 2.0 source at up to 3840 x 2160 resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate. It provides four simultaneous audio outputs including HDMI audio only port, optical Toslink SPDIF, coaxial and 3.5 mm jack. A four position toggle selects TV, 2.0, 5.1 or 7.1 channel output mode. The unit requires the included DC 5 V 1000 mA power supply.

Replaces basic HDMI splitters that lack audio

This extractor adds dedicated audio paths for receivers, soundbars or headphones while passing 4K 60 Hz video with HDR and HDCP 2.2 through the HDMI loop out. The upgrade is worthwhile when your display cannot decode Dolby Atmos, DTS:X or multichannel LPCM and you need to send those formats to a separate audio system. It also enables eARC or ARC audio return from a compatible TV without routing video through the receiver.
