The Jansicotek TJ-A022 is a 16 ft fiber-optic DisplayPort cable built to the DP 1.4 standard. It links a DisplayPort-equipped PC or laptop to a monitor, projector or HDTV for high-resolution video and audio. The hybrid glass-fiber and copper construction eliminates electromagnetic interference that affects long copper runs. Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion.

32.4 Gbps bandwidth with 8K 60 Hz

The cable carries up to 32.4 Gbps using HBR3 signalling at 8.1 Gbps per lane. It comfortably handles 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz for gaming or content creation. Higher refresh rates such as 4K 240 Hz exceed the available bandwidth and are not supported. The link remains backward compatible with 1440p and 1080p displays.

DP 1.4 interface limits at 16 ft

DisplayPort 1.4 caps total throughput at 32.4 Gbps, so resolutions and refresh rates beyond that ceiling cannot be transmitted regardless of cable quality. The fiber design maintains signal integrity at 16 ft where copper cables typically degrade past 33 ft.
