20-metre DisplayPort 1.4 fibre cable

This Jansicotek TJ-A077 cable carries DisplayPort 1.4 signals over 20 metres using a hybrid glass-fibre and copper construction. It supports 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and lower resolutions, with up to 32.4 Gbps bandwidth and HDR10. The connectors are 24 K gold-plated and the jacket is wear-resistant TPE.

Check source and display ports before ordering

Verify that your graphics card or source device has a full-size DisplayPort 1.4 output and that your monitor or projector accepts a DisplayPort 1.4 input. The connectors are male-to-male and directional; the end marked Source must plug into the GPU and the end marked Display into the screen. Ensure the 66-foot length suits the routing path and that no tighter bend radius than the cable allows is required.

Passive optical design runs cool and silent

The fibre-optic link needs no active electronics in the cable body, so it produces no heat and no fan noise during normal use. Power draw is limited to the small amount supplied by the DisplayPort source for the optical transceivers in the connector shells. The triple-shielded, zinc-alloy housings maintain signal integrity without adding thermal load to the system.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Jansicotek TJ-A077 20m DisplayPort cable and do I need any extra adapters?

The box contains the single 66 ft fiber-optic DisplayPort 1.4 cable with male-to-male connectors; no additional adapters are required for a standard DisplayPort source and display.

The listing mentions 8K@60Hz and 4K@144Hz — which resolution and refresh combination should I pick for my setup?

Choose 8K@60Hz when your monitor and graphics card both support 8K over DisplayPort 1.4; otherwise 4K@144Hz is the highest refresh rate available at 4K resolution.

What does the 32.4Gbps bandwidth figure mean once the cable is installed in my system?

It indicates the maximum HBR3 data rate the hybrid glass-fiber and copper construction can carry, enabling uncompressed 8K@60Hz or 4K@144Hz with HDR10 and DSC 1.2 support.
