The link carries 8K at 60 Hz, 5K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz or 120 Hz and 2K up to 240 Hz, all at 10-bit RGB 4:4:4 with HDR10 and Dolby Vision. HDCP 2.2 and 3D are supported. Bandwidth heads up at 32.4 Gbps, so resolutions above 8K or refresh rates beyond the listed figures are not possible. Backward compatibility covers DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2, 1.1 and 1.0.

Bi-directional design fits mixed port setups
