Bi-Directional 8K Switcher

The Jansicotek Ultra HD 8K Switcher is a bi-directional HDMI 2.1 device that works as a 1×2 switch or a 2×1 splitter. It suits users who want to toggle between two sources on one display or route one source to either of two screens manually.

48 Gbps bandwidth and resolution headroom

The unit passes 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz over its 48 Gbps link. It handles current consoles and high-refresh PCs comfortably, but only one output is active at a time so dual simultaneous display is not possible.

Manual select button for mode changes

A physical Select button on the unit toggles the active path in either switch or splitter mode. No automatic sensing or remote control is provided, so the user must press the button each time a change is needed.

Questions about this item

Will this 8K@60Hz switcher work with my older 1080p@240Hz monitor?

Yes, the unit is backward compatible with earlier HDMI standards and supports 1080p at 240Hz, so your existing monitor will work without changes.

How can I confirm the switcher is passing a true 4K@120Hz signal after I connect it?

Check your display's on-screen information menu; it should report a 4K resolution at 120Hz refresh rate when a compatible source is selected via the front button.

Does the box include the HDMI cables needed for my two sources and display, or must I buy them separately?

The package contains the switch unit, a USB-A to Micro-B cable and a user manual; HDMI cables for the sources and display are not included and must be purchased separately.
