Jazmm AM FM SW WB Radio

Portable 4-Band Radio with NOAA Alerts

The Jazmm receives AM, FM, shortwave and weather-band signals for listeners who want broad spectrum access in a pocket-sized device. A built-in DSP chip processes the 4.75-21.85MHz shortwave range alongside standard broadcast bands. NOAA weather alerts on 162.400-162.550MHz deliver emergency updates directly from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Bluetooth pairing lets the unit serve as a wireless speaker for a phone or tablet.

Sustained Operation on Rechargeable Battery

A 1250mAh internal cell powers up to 10-12 hours of continuous playback before requiring a recharge via the Type-C port. The 5-watt speaker maintains consistent output during extended listening sessions without the voltage sag common in disposable-cell designs. An integrated flashlight draws from the same reserve, useful during power outages or night-time outdoor use. Battery level above 85% is recommended for stable reception of weaker shortwave stations.

Reception Limits and Media Playback

FM tuning covers 87-108MHz while AM spans 520-1710KHz; shortwave extends from 4.75-21.85MHz and weather band is fixed at 162.400-162.550MHz. Bluetooth functions as a receiver only, so the radio cannot transmit audio to wireless headphones. MP3 playback is supported through SD card and USB ports for local files. Placement near a window improves signal capture, especially for shortwave and weather-band channels.
