Fixed 15V PD trigger
The KEHIPI PDC004-PD module negotiates a fixed 15V output from a USB-C Power Delivery source using a 2721 hardware PD chip. Each unit presents a Type-C female input and is rated for up to 5A current delivery. The pack contains five identical modules intended for powering projects or adapting legacy hardware to USB-C input. No firmware upgrades or voltage changes are possible.
Sustained load behavior
The module performs only the PD handshake and passes through whatever voltage the source provides; if the charger cannot supply 15V it will fall back to a lower voltage. Operation above 3A requires an electronically marked Type-C cable and a genuine PD power source, as Quick Charge-only adapters will not work. The 2721 chip cannot resolve compatibility mismatches between source and load.
Build and connectors
Each board measures 17.6 by 10.2 by 4.2 mm and is rated for -25 to 85 °C ambient temperature with 5 to 95 % relative humidity. The fixed Type-C female socket accepts standard USB-C plugs while the tiny footprint allows integration inside enclosures or on prototype boards. The hardware PD chip also helps protect the CC lines from VBUS short-circuit damage during testing.

Questions about this item
Will the 2721 chip overheat if I leave a project running at 5 A all day?
The module is rated for -25 to 85 °C ambient temperature and 5 % to 95 % RH, so continuous 5 A operation stays within its thermal envelope as long as the enclosure stays below 85 °C.
What cable and charger do I need to actually get 15 V at 5 A from these decoys?
You must use an electronically marked USB-C cable rated for 5 A and a genuine USB Power Delivery charger that advertises 15 V; Quick Charge or non-PD adapters will not trigger the voltage.
Can I plug one of these into my 12 V barrel-jack router using a USB-C-to-barrel cable and expect it to negotiate 15 V?
The decoy requests a fixed 15 V; if the PD charger cannot supply 15 V it will fall back to its next lower voltage, so the router will only receive 15 V when the charger explicitly supports that level.
