M.2 2242 2 TB PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe 1.3 SSD with 3D NAND, up to 3500 MB/s read and 3000 MB/s write
The KingSpec NXM-2TB is an M.2 2242 internal SSD with 2 TB of 3D NAND storage. It connects through a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface and follows the NVMe 1.3 specification. The drive fits ultrabooks, laptops, desktops and all-in-one systems that accept a 2242 M-key module.
Sequential reads reach 3500 MB/s and writes reach 3000 MB/s, while random 4 KB performance hits 330,000 read IOPS and 250,000 write IOPS. The 1000 TBW endurance rating supports heavy daily workloads, though sustained writes will eventually throttle once the SLC cache fills.
Without a heatsink the controller relies on the motherboard thermal pad and airflow inside the chassis. Idle power sits at 0.61 W and active power at 3.6 W, keeping temperatures within the 0 °C to 75 °C operating range during typical workloads.

Other versions of this model
No — the drive is built to the M.2 2242 form factor measuring 42.0 mm long, so it cannot occupy a 2280-length socket.
Run a synthetic benchmark such as CrystalDiskMark on an NVMe 1.3-compatible PCIe 3.0 x4 slot; results should approach the stated 3500 MB/s read and 3000 MB/s write figures.
The drive ships without a heatsink and without a mounting screw; both items need to be supplied by the user or the host device.
