Splits one motherboard PWM header into five fan connectors, drawing 12 V power directly from a 4-pin Molex plug over a 40 cm cable
The Lanfan 1007 splits a single motherboard CPU fan header into five connectors, letting builders run up to five 3-pin or 4-pin fans from one PWM signal. It draws 12 V power directly from a PSU Molex-style plug so the board header only carries the control line. This suits compact or budget boards that lack enough fan headers for a full chassis layout.
All five fans follow the same motherboard temperature curve because only the first header reports speed back to the BIOS. The four additional ports are pure PWM outputs without individual tachometer return, so per-fan monitoring or independent curves are not possible. Builders who need per-fan RPM data or separate profiles must use a controller with dedicated sense lines.
The 22 AWG wiring and 40 cm lead comfortably supply five typical case fans at 12 V without overloading the motherboard header. Total current is capped by the PSU connector and trace width, so very high-static-pressure fans or large counts beyond five may exceed the hub’s safe capacity. Users planning dense radiator stacks should verify aggregate draw against the PSU rail limit.

The hub expands a single motherboard header to five 3-pin or 4-pin fan connectors, letting you run up to five fans from one CPU fan socket.
At roughly 40 cm the lead reaches from a bottom-mounted PSU to a top-front fan cluster in most mid-tower builds without stretching.
The large 4-pin draws 12 V directly from the PSU to power all five fans, while the separate 4-pin PWM lead plugs into the motherboard so every fan follows the same speed curve.
