Ryzen 7 260 processor and RTX 5060 graphics

This Legion 5 15 pairs an eight-core Ryzen 7 260 processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU. The 15.1" WQXGA display runs at 2560x1600 for sharp detail in games and creative work. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and Wi-Fi 7 provides modern wireless connectivity.

16 GB DDR5 memory and 512 GB PCIe SSD

Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 memory handles current titles and multitasking without bottlenecking the RTX 5060. The 512 GB PCIe SSD offers fast boot and load times but fills quickly with large modern game installs. Buyers who want more storage or 32 GB of memory should plan an upgrade.

Coldfront thermal system and 65-100 W USB PD

Lenovo's Coldfront cooling manages heat from the Ryzen 7 260 and RTX 5060 during extended sessions. Fan noise rises under full load but remains moderate for typical gaming. The USB-C port supports 65-100 W Power Delivery for flexible charging away from the supplied adapter.

Questions about this item

Can I connect my older USB 3.0 peripherals to the two USB-A 5Gbps ports on this Legion 5?

Yes, both USB-A ports run at USB 3.2 Gen 1 5Gbps and are backward compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 devices you already own.

How can I verify the RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 GPU is active after setup?

Open Device Manager or the NVIDIA control panel; the dedicated GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU will be listed alongside the integrated graphics.

Does the box include an SD card reader or must I buy one separately?

The laptop has no built-in SD reader, so an external USB card reader must be purchased separately; the package contains the laptop, power adapter and documentation.
