Legion 5 15 gaming laptop

The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is a gaming laptop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor with 8 cores and 16 threads. A 15.1 inch WQXGA display running at 2560x1600 provides the visual canvas. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed for immediate use.

24-zone RGB keyboard and Wi-Fi 7

The 24-zone RGB backlit keyboard adds per-key lighting control for low-light sessions. Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be 2x2) and Bluetooth 5.4 deliver modern wireless throughput and peripheral pairing. A 1080p webcam and dual USB-C ports with DisplayPort 2.1 and USB4 40Gbps round out the connectivity package.

16GB memory and 512GB SSD headroom

The 16GB DDR5 configuration handles current titles and multitasking without paging. The 512GB PCIe SSD offers fast load times but fills quickly with large modern game installs. The RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 GPU drives 1440p gaming at high settings, though 4K output or heavy ray-tracing workloads will exceed its VRAM buffer.

Questions about this item

How often will the 24-zone RGB keyboard LEDs need replacement?

The 24-zone RGB keyboard is built into the chassis; individual LEDs are not user-serviceable and are covered by the standard manufacturer warranty.

What thermal limit throttles the Ryzen 7 260 and RTX 5060 during extended gaming?

The CPU boosts to 5.1 GHz and the GPU runs on 8 GB GDDR7; both share a vapour-chamber cooling system that throttles when the combined package power hits the firmware limit.

How loud are the fans and what is the surface temperature when the laptop runs all day?

Under sustained load the dual-fan system spins up to an audible but not intrusive level while the keyboard deck stays warm to the touch.
