Lenovo Legion 5 Core i9 RTX 5070 Gaming Laptop

This new Lenovo Legion 5 laptop pairs a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900HX processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 dedicated GPU. It ships with 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD running Windows 11 Home. The 15.1-inch QHD+ OLED panel delivers a 2560 x 1600 resolution at 165Hz. Wi-Fi 7 and a 24-zone RGB backlit keyboard complete the specification.

Who This Suits and Who Should Look Elsewhere

The configuration suits gamers and creators who want high frame rates on a 165Hz OLED screen backed by a 5.80GHz turbo CPU and RTX 5070 graphics. Buyers who need more than 16GB of RAM or more than 1TB of storage should look at other models. Users requiring a touchscreen or a media card reader will not find those features here. The laptop weighs 4.19 lbs and measures 13.58 x 13.94 x 14.13 inches.

16GB DDR5 Memory Decides Fit

The single specification that decides whether this is the right part is the 16GB of DDR5 RAM soldered or installed as a single configuration. The platform supports up to 64GB, but this unit ships with 16GB only. If your workload demands 32GB or 64GB out of the box, this specific SKU will not meet that need without a later upgrade.
