Built for high-frame-rate gaming and creative work

This Lenovo Legion 5i 15 pairs an Intel Core i7-14700HX with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 8 GB graphics card. The 20-core processor reaches 5.5 GHz on its performance cores, while the OLED panel runs at 165 Hz. Windows 11 Home and Wi-Fi 7 complete a system aimed at players and creators who need responsive visuals.

Memory and storage headroom

The laptop ships with 16 GB of DDR5 memory and a 512 GB PCIe SSD. That capacity handles current games and multitasking, yet heavy mod libraries or large video projects will fill the drive quickly. The chassis allows professional upgrades to 64 GB of memory and 2 TB of storage, giving a clear path when the factory configuration runs out.

Display technology that defines the experience

The 15.1-inch WQXGA OLED screen delivers 2560 x 1600 resolution at 165 Hz. OLED contrast and per-pixel response make fast motion readable and HDR content vivid. If your workflow depends on colour accuracy or you play competitive titles where motion clarity matters, this panel is the specification that decides suitability.

Questions about this item

Will the i7-14700HX with 20C/28T and RTX 5070 8 GB bottleneck when I keep my 10 Gbps USB-C dock and HDMI 2.1 monitor?

The laptop has one USB-C 10 Gbps port with DisplayPort 2.1 and one HDMI 2.1 port supporting 8K 60 Hz, so your dock and monitor will run at full speed alongside the 20-core CPU and RTX 5070.

How do I confirm the 15.1" 2560x1600 OLED panel is actually running at 165 Hz after setup?

Open Windows Settings > System > Display > Advanced display and verify the refresh rate shows 165 Hz; the OLED panel's native resolution is 2560x1600.

What ships in the box besides the 4.4 lb Eclipse Black unit, and what must I buy separately?

The box contains the laptop, power adapter and documentation; no SD card reader is built in, so add a USB card reader if you need one.
