Core specification

This Lenovo Legion 5i 15 gaming laptop pairs an Intel Core i7-14700HX processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 8 GB graphics card. The 15.1 inch WQXGA OLED panel runs at 165 Hz and shows 2560 by 1600 resolution. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 2 TB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Portability and audience

The 4.4 pound chassis suits gamers and creators who move between rooms or events but still want desktop-class frame rates. Buyers who need a smaller footprint or longer unplugged runtime should look at thinner ultraportables. The fixed 32 GB memory ceiling also rules out users who plan to expand RAM later.

Build integration

Two USB-C ports with DisplayPort 2.1 and 1.4 plus HDMI 2.1 let you drive multiple external monitors at high refresh rates. Wi-Fi 7 and a 2.5 Gb Ethernet jack keep network latency low for competitive play. The 10 Gbps USB-A and USB-C ports give fast access to external SSDs without occupying the single internal drive slot.
