Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny Desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny desktop PC delivers business-class performance in a micro form factor. An 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor reaches up to 4.10 GHz for responsive multitasking. 32 GB of DDR4 UDIMM memory and a 256 GB 2.5-inch solid state drive provide fast access to files and applications. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed with a USB keyboard and mouse included.

Ideal for office and home-office users

This system suits professionals who need a compact, quiet PC for productivity tasks, web browsing and video conferencing. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles dual-display setups for everyday workflows. Buyers who require discrete graphics performance for 3D rendering, CAD or gaming should consider a workstation with a dedicated GPU. The small chassis limits internal expansion to a single 2.5-inch drive bay and two DDR4 slots.

32 GB DDR4 UDIMM memory configuration

The 32 GB DDR4 UDIMM memory kit fills both SO-DIMM slots in this tiny desktop. This capacity supports heavy multitasking and large spreadsheet workloads without paging. Verify that any future memory upgrade matches DDR4 UDIMM 240-pin specifications to maintain compatibility.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 65 W Intel Core i5-8500 generate when the Tiny chassis runs all day?

The 65 W processor rating sets the thermal ceiling; the M720q Tiny uses a compact internal fan and heatsink designed for that power level, so sustained loads stay within the chassis cooling capacity without extra ventilation.

Does the 32 GB DDR4 memory and 256 GB 2.5" SSD require any extra parts to start working?

No, the 32 GB DDR4 UDIMM and 2.5" 256 GB SSD are factory-installed; Windows 11 Pro is pre-loaded, and a USB keyboard and mouse are included, so only a display and power cable are needed.

Can I keep using my older VGA monitor with the graphics on this unit?

The Intel UHD Graphics output is provided through modern display ports on the Tiny; a VGA monitor would need an active adapter, which is not supplied.
