Tiny business desktop for office workloads

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny desktop PC delivers an Intel Core i7-8700 processor with six cores and twelve threads, reaching up to 4.60 GHz. It ships with 32 GB DDR4 memory and a dual-drive configuration of 256 GB M.2 SSD plus 1 TB hard drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment in professional environments.

Micro form factor fits constrained spaces

The Micro case design allows placement on a desk, behind a monitor or in a rack mount where full towers cannot go. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics drives displays without a discrete card, freeing the single expansion slot for other add-in boards. A USB Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle provides wireless connectivity when internal Wi-Fi is not present.

Included peripherals complete the workstation

A USB keyboard and mouse are bundled so the system is ready to use straight from the box. The DVD-ROM optical drive handles legacy media and software installation. Windows 11 Pro licensing is included, removing the need for a separate operating system purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the 65 W i7-8700 throttle during long compiles?

The 65 W TDP is the first thermal ceiling under sustained load; the tiny chassis relies on a small internal fan, so extended heavy work will hit that limit.

How loud and hot does the M720q get after hours of use?

The compact case and 65 W processor mean fan noise rises noticeably and exhaust air becomes warm during all-day operation.

Does the box include a monitor so I can start working immediately?

No monitor is included; you must already own a display with HDMI or DisplayPort input plus a power outlet for the 65 W PSU.
