Compact business desktop

This Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s SFF desktop arrives new with an 8th Generation Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor reaching 4.10 GHz, 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 128 GB solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed alongside a DVD-ROM drive, USB keyboard, mouse and a USB wireless dongle with Bluetooth. The small form factor case suits space-limited offices.

Office deployments, not graphics work

The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 handles everyday business applications, multi-monitor productivity and video playback. Buyers who need discrete GPU performance for CAD, rendering or modern gaming should look elsewhere. The 128 GB drive covers the operating system and core programs, so users with large local media libraries will require additional storage.

128 GB boot drive capacity

The single 2.5-inch 128 GB solid-state drive holds the operating system and essential applications. Buyers who need more internal space for project files, databases or media must add secondary storage. No other drive is included in this configuration.

Questions about this item

How does the 4.1 GHz boost clock on the i5-8500 behave once the system is under load?

The processor can reach 4.1 GHz on active cores while staying within its 65 W power envelope, so sustained workloads run at high frequency without thermal throttling in the SFF chassis.

What display outputs does the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 provide on this model?

The UHD 630 drives standard video ports on the rear I/O panel, supporting multi-monitor setups at up to 4K resolution for typical business applications.

Will a 2.5-inch 128 GB solid-state drive install directly in the M720s small-form-factor case?

Yes, the 2.5-inch SSD mounts in the dedicated drive bay and connects to the motherboard using the standard data and power cables already routed inside the chassis.
