Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s SFF Business Desktop

This Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s is a small form factor business desktop designed for office environments. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i5 8500 six-core processor with 8GB of DDR4 memory. A 2TB NVMe PCIe SSD provides fast storage for applications and files. Integrated Intel UHD 630 graphics drive dual displays via DisplayPort and VGA.

Suits general office work; not for high-end graphics

This system suits general office productivity, web browsing and multi-monitor setups. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance for 3D rendering, video editing or gaming should look elsewhere. The integrated graphics and 65W processor limit heavy visual workloads. There is no wireless card installed, so a wired connection or separate adapter is required.

2TB NVMe PCIe SSD determines storage speed

The single specification that decides fit is the 2TB NVMe PCIe SSD. It delivers the rapid boot and load times expected from modern NVMe storage. If your workflow demands a different capacity or a secondary drive bay, verify the chassis supports it before purchase. The SSD interface and capacity are the key factors for this configuration.

Questions about this item

What monitor cable do I need to use the DisplayPort outputs on this M720s?

Connect a standard DisplayPort cable from either of the two DisplayPort outputs to your monitor; the integrated Intel UHD 630 graphics drive both ports simultaneously.

Will my existing DDR4 memory modules work if I want to expand the 8 GB already installed?

Yes, the system uses DDR4 memory, so any compatible DDR4 DIMM can be added to the available slots alongside the factory 8 GB.

How can I verify the NVMe SSD is recognised at its full 2 TB capacity after first boot?

Open Windows 11 Disk Management or File Explorer and confirm the drive shows approximately 2 TB of usable space with the NVMe label.
