Business ultrabook for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad T480s is a 14.0-inch laptop built for professionals who need a reliable Windows 11 Pro machine on the move. Its quad-core Intel Core i7-8650U processor runs at 1.9 GHz with a 4.20 GHz boost across four cores and eight threads. The 8 GB DDR4 memory and 1 TB SSD provide responsive multitasking and ample local storage for documents and applications.

Durable chassis with versatile port selection

The black magnesium-alloy frame meets military-grade durability standards while staying thin and light for daily carry. A 14.0-inch FHD IPS panel at 1920 x 1080 delivers wide viewing angles without touch input. Connectivity includes two USB 3.1 Gen1 ports — one always-on for charging phones — two USB Type-C ports with Power Delivery and DisplayPort alt-mode, HDMI, Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth 4.1.

Integrated graphics and soldered memory limit

Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles office apps and video playback but cannot drive modern 3D workloads or multiple high-refresh external displays. The 8 GB DDR4 is soldered to the board, so total memory cannot exceed the factory configuration. Storage uses an M.2 slot that accepts SATA or NVME drives, yet the single-slot design means total capacity tops out at the installed 1 TB unless the drive is replaced.
