ThinkPad T490 14.0" FHD Touchscreen i7-8550U

This 14.0-inch Ultrabook pairs an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8550U quad-core processor with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 128GB SSD. It ships new with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and a 1920 x 1080 IPS touchscreen display. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles visual output for everyday workloads.

Ideal for mobile professionals needing 32GB RAM

The 32GB DDR4 configuration suits users who run multiple virtual machines, large spreadsheets or development tools on the move. The 128GB SSD provides limited local capacity, so buyers who want more storage should look at a different specification. There is no discrete graphics option, making it unsuitable for heavy 3D rendering or modern gaming.

128GB SSD capacity is the deciding spec

The single solid-state drive offers 128GB of space for the operating system, applications and active files. Users with large media libraries, extensive project archives or sizable game installations will need external or cloud storage to supplement this drive.
